Bionutri Estrolignan Plus is a food supplement that provides a rich source of dietary lignans from linseed along with a combination of Omega 3 Fish Oil from sardine and anchovy, Limonene and Vitamin D.

Lignans are widely distributed in plant material and form a normal part of our everyday diet, but flax (linseed) is by far the best known food source, providing around 100 times more than any other plant material. The primary Lignan found in flax is SDG. Lignans are phytoestrogens whose nutritional role has become increasingly recognised

Each capsule of Bionutri Estrolignan Plus provides as much SDG as around 2 tablespoons of whole Linseeds €“ however, unless linseeds are ground or milled, only a small proportion of their Lignans can be digested – Linseed Oil does not contain Lignans.

Estrolignan Plus is a twin-pack in which the micronutrients are provided in a separate capsule to the Omega 3 (Fish Oil) capsules. Both capsules may be taken at the same time, but encapsulating them separately helps to enhance the integrity of the micronutrients, particularly the Lignans.

Recommended Intake

1 fish oil capsules and 1 micronutrient capsule daily with food
