Where shall I go to get my blood taken?
If you are based in Brighton or London there are a number of places you can visit to have your blood taken for your test. If you are based away from London or Brighton then you should be able to get your practice nurse at your local surgery, a private laboratory or hospital to take your blood for a small fee.
Please note some tests, in particular homocysteiene, Comprehensive Cardiovascular Risk Assessment and NutrEval, have specific requirements such as centrifuging and freezing please check with the phlebotomy centre that this is possible before attending.
Please ensure you read the instructions carefully and follow them through as some require fasting or stopping medication which should not be done unless supervised by your doctor
