What happens in a nutritional therapy consultation?

Prior to your nutritional therapy consultation you will be sent a questionnaire and diet diary and a dietary analysis form to fill in and bring along.

The nutrition questionnaire is quite detailed but will help to provide me with a lot of information about your current state of health which will enable me to help you so needs to be filled in with as much detail as possible.

During the nutritional therapy consultation I use the questionnaire to gather more information and I aim to identify any current nutritional, dietary and lifestyle factors that are contributing to symptoms and health conditions you are experiencing.

I will then explain these factors to you and then we work together to make a plan with attainable dietary and lifestyle changes necessary to help alleviate your symptoms and restore optimum health.

At the end of a nutritional therapy consultation you will receive

  • A full detailed written nutrition report with clear guidelines on changes to be made plus meal and menu ideas to help you achieve your goals.
  • Nutrition fact sheets to support any explanations around your current health conditions and goals.
  • A comprehensive supplement plan if appropriate showing what to take and why.
  • Recommendations for specific health tests if appropriate.
  • The cost of the supplements and and health test recommendations are not included.

After your nutritional therapy consultation
